Weapon/Magic(s):None… Although he knows the art of whacking pupils with books pretty well lD/ Minor transformation magic… Prefers not to use it though

Combat Strengths/Weaknesses: …. Strengths? Pfft. None… Although I suppose he could give a pretty good kick with those legs of his though. Oh, and good tactical schemer. Weaknesses? Even though he can be fast, he’s often very clumsy… Given what with the odd anatomical build. Tires out easily because of his age/ lack of excercise

Personality:patient, erudite, astute and just a bit gullible. Bad at reading people.

Background:
A rigorous student of all studies he can find a book on, Zeta began his academic quest at a young age. Born as the youngest of 6 on a farm, young Zeta always sought for more than the farm labor legacy he was born into. Thankfully because of a chance encounter with a traveling scholar, he stumbled across books and was taught how to read, thus beginning his lifelong thirst for knowledge lD.

As a young man, Zeta began questioning the very prejudices that divided his world by species and their chosen arts. He began studying each species, hoping to find what it is in fact that connects them. To this day, he still carries a notebook with him in which to jot down notes and pictures of unique species he encounters on the street.

He even hypothesized early on that magic and science were not as divided as commonly conceived, instead favoring that the two arts are in fact two sides of the same coin.
However, although his theories fell right on par with those of the Lords of Fusion, he was denied admittance into their ranks because of his anthropomorphic lineage.

Because of this outright refusal, Zeta still bears a grudge against the LOF.
Although Zeta prefers biologic studies, he is still an avid designer of machines and things to be used by his fellow outcasts. He does not approve of outright fighting, and will not design/craft weapons unless it is absolutely required to do so.

When not researching or building, Zeta often tutors young apprentices/students... In the case of Seint and his reading lessons lD

Extras:
• He CAN transform into a purely human form, but he prefers not to. The process is not at all comfortable and takes too much time. When on the rare occasion he does opt for human legs he is both: awkwardly tall making him less stable than usual, and unable to change back for a good few days. He is may be able to channel more magic, but he is more vulnerable without his powerful equine legs to defend him. Also, human legs feel inferior to him… Because some areas of the human anatomy are ‘lacking’ when compared to his horse form…. I don’t need to explain this, do I ? lDDDD

• Lives and works from a crowded book shop in the lower Illusdois area. It’s a cozy little shop… Best described as a “small cave where the walls are made of literature, and the stalagmites are columns of pure book lD.”

• He enjoys drawing and painting, although it is more of a hobby than a career... He's never actually sold a painting, and hoards them just as he hoards his books.

• On occasions when times are tough, he sells strands of his hair to artists and musicians for use in paint brushes and instrument bows lD. Even clips the ends of his hair for his own paintbrushes most of the time.

• Has a weakness for sweets and brandy…. He can handle his liquor pretty well, but he’s not immune to doing stupid stuff when inebriated lD

• He was married as a young man, to a mare named Hyia. The two have a daughter named Toriane, but they split a few years after her birth. Zeta regrets the split, but Hyia seems to be holding her own pretty well... Never a lonely night for her >->. Zeta and Tori still meet regularly. She's currently working as a maid to pay for her mother's lifestyle, much to Zeta's dismay.
